Best Ever

Hi, good afternoon!

Soooo, do you like the orange redesign?! I love it. Orange is the color of BLISS, y'know. It is! I know because a friend told me years ago and also because this person says so:

Orange in any of its shades or tones promotes vim and vigor and the use of orange in daily life promotes activity of a positive nature into daily life...Putting this color into the life of someone who is recovering from an upset will help them get back on track more quickly...The color orange represents ecstasy and bliss and is a color that can infuse great energy and healing into your life. For this reason it is known as a "fantastic color".

I like. Fantastic colors are fun.

Today, I taught intenSati inside Equinox (www.equinoxfitness.com) for the first time since my ankle ligament surgery on July 16th. HOLY COW!!!!! I was expecting January. I thought I would teach in JANUARY but I taught today and if I do say so myself, it was a really great class!!! I think it was my best ever. Why? Because I was the most GRATEFUL as a teacher I've ever felt, I kid you not. I was so freakin' grateful for the practice, my healing body, all the students, Equinox, Patricia, and hot dance music. I feel very optimistic about my future as an intenSati instructor -- no conflicts inside, just a need to progress slowly as my ankle is very much healing and regaining all its strength.

My new series is posted on the side of the blog and I'll share it with you here:

Yes, I'm feeling better!

I am back and I am better than ever!

I know what I want and I am willing to be

HAPPY what I seek is seeking me!

Where's your strength? It's from within!

How do you play? I play to win!

My positive energy heals myself. My positive energy helps someone else. I surrender what was, in this moment I am loved. I surrender what was, I open to LOVE.

Ahhhh.

It feels so good! The one line that I want to share on quickly is "what I seek is seeking me" which is based on a line from a Rumi poem, "What you seek is seeking you." It's a powerful idea, isn't it? When I wrote it, I was thinking of my soul mate seeking me as I am seeking him. I was also thinking about how I choose to go about my life now that the desires I have that are for my highest good are like hands looking for gloves. Just little fits all over that find each other. Actors to roles, singers to songs, writers to phrases, lovers to love, and it goes on and on...

I'd like to share the rest of Rumi's poem with you:

What you seek is seeking you.
Let the beauty you love be what you do.
There are a thousand ways to kneel and kiss the earth.
When you do things from your soul, you feel a river moving in you, a joy.
Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.
Words are a pretext. It is the inner bond that draws one person to another, not words.
Reason is powerless in the expression of love.
The universe and the light of the stars come through me.
Out beyond ideas of wrong-doing and right-doing
there is a field. I'll meet you there.
When the soul lies down in that grass
the world is too full to talk about.

:)
