I was inspired to change the template (for about the 25th time) to sunflowers because they remind me of Tuscany. If you've never been to this incredible land, I can tell you that one of the highlights are the endless fields of happy, golden flowers. Beautiful.
I also came across a song of the same name by Canadian singer/songwriter, Stacey Zegers. She has an inspirational, anti-bullying message and sings to subjects like depression, suicide and why female power runs a lot deeper than red lipstick on a pale blonde. I enjoy where Stacey takes the video at around the 2 minute mark. Check out "Sunflower" and let me know what you think:

Thank you Lindsay for posting this. It is a shame that bullying exits. It is a shame also that some adults continue on with bullying much like the behavior that is so rampant in reality shows especially. If one is bullying it is a sure sign of the disconnect there are having within themselves. LOVE is the only answer for creating change.
ReplyDeleteOur society is fed mostly by criticism, judgement and gossip. I pray that at some point we can morph into a "positive" based society where being an example of "light" will be powerful enough on it's own. We are all wanting to be loved. It is at the root of all behavior. When we are connected to our internal beauty and power it is very difficult not to see everything and everyone through loving eyes.
We are all one. I praise the artist and leaders, like yourself who are lifting the planet with their light.
I appreciate you and all that you do to make my world more beautiful.
